Supervised autonomous work, in accordance with the dissertation research plan approved and accepted by the Student, by the Advisor (ISEP Ph.D. or Specialist professor or researcher), by the Co-advisor (if defined), and by the organization Supervisor (if defined).
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the curricular unit, the student must be able to deliver a complete master dissertation and defend it. In order to achieve that, the student must show to be capable of:
CO1. Design and execute a meaningful dissertation research project based on the plan approved;
CO2. Managing the articulation of the research objectives, and position the research activities within the correct academic context, state claims and evidence clearly, assess the soundness of the claims, the evidences, the outcomes, and the results.
CO3. Undertaking the research process and be aware of research obligations and pitfalls
CO4. Organize the dissertation document as a research narrative, in the form of multi-chapter manuscript, structured along the lines of what will be defined in the dissertation template of this MSc
CO5. Describe the master's research clearly and succinctly, in written and oral forms, to the evaluation jury.
