Learning Outcomes
This curricular unit aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the integration of complex systems, with a focus on systems-oriented architectures.
Technologies such as communication middleware, distributed computing, and mechanisms to ensure critical real-time and security requirements are addressed. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply key concepts, use relevant tools, and design, implement, and evaluate reliable systems of systems.
The learning outcomes (CO) of the curricular unit are as follows:
- CO1: Apply the main concepts of Systems of Systems.
- CO2: Use the most relevant Systems of Systems platforms, frameworks, and middleware.
- CO3: Design and implement reliable critical systems of systems.
- CO4: Evaluate systems of systems projects.
