Learning Outcomes

O1. Understand and interpret economic and financial information of companies to support decision-making.
O2. Analyze and understand the economic and financial situation of companies.
O3. Analyze, understand, and make decisions on financial matters using financial mathematics tools, both in the context of corporate finance and personal finance.
O4. Provide students with the ability to understand and estimate the economic and financial variables involved in the investment decision-making process.
O5. Acquire knowledge of the main techniques for the economic and financial evaluation of investment projects, being able to estimate the necessary financial and accounting figures and calculate economic and financial feasibility indicators.
O6. Develop skills to understand the choice of financing instruments suitable for the needs of companies and investment projects.
O7. Apply project evaluation techniques and financial risk analysis to a concrete project in the area of electric power systems.
