Contents

The study themes of the Dissertations / Master's internship can be diverse, however, they must be framed in the scientific area of the course.
The program includes the following topics:
P1. Ethics in Engineering and Research
P2. Literature Review in the State of the Art
P3. Organizing yourself
P4. Project Planning
P5. Research Methods
P6. Technical-Scientific Writing.

Learning Outcomes

Scientific and technical updating of the themes related to the dissertation / internship work that the student intends to carry out.
Tutoring guidance to students, encouraging them to efficiently manage their study hours, scientific research and work autonomously.
Applicability of the studies developed and that will be carried out, to the business world.
The structural elements of an essay text must contain the three essential parts: introduction, development and conclusion.
It is intended that students who are active in selecting the topic of their dissertations / master's internship. They can define the topic themselves, guaranteeing a subject of particular interest and from which, eventually, they have already acquired relevant knowledge.
Working students can propose a topic whose study is of special interest / relevance for the company where they work, enhancing greater efficiency in the development of the thesis and an eventual benefit and utility for both.

By the end of this UC, the student must be able to:
CO1. Interpret problems analytically, critically, and ethically with the adoption the best practices
CO2. Formulate analytically, and critically a literature review respecting ethical principles
CO3. Create an integrated project plan considering its scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk to build an achievable timeline and set interim milestones and checkpoints for monitoring progress
CO4 . Create analytically, critically, and ethically a state of art considering the proposal theme.
CO5 . Present writing work with technical, scientific, and ethical rigour
