Learning Outcomes

The aim of this discipline is to achieve the following objectives:
OB1 - Provide students with comprehensive knowledge about the working principle of special electrical machines.
OB2 - Provide students with knowledge about the power converters used to drive different special electrical machines.
OB3 - Provide students with knowledge about modeling of special electrical machines.
OB4 - Provide students with knowledge about simulation and control of special electrical machines.
OB5- Assign skills for the analysis, characterization and selection of the main non-conventional electrical machines;
OB6- Assign skills to correctly diagnose malfunctions on special electrical machines;
