Learning Outcomes
At the end of the teaching of this course, students should be able to:
[1] to carry out a study of the work (methods and times), using the techniques studied and to understand how to use other methods of measuring times;
[2] to frame Ergonomics in the work context, to present its scientific basis and the main branches of knowledge on which it is based;
[3] characterize and assess the risk associated with manual cargo handling activities;
[4] identify and recognise the importance of applying ergonomic principles in the design of workstations;
[5] acquire knowledge about Anthropometry, the methodologies and instrumentation used in obtaining and measuring anthropometric parameters;
[6] Develop ergonomic intervention capacity in workplaces, based on anthropometric principles and potential ergonomic risks.
