To provide Students with the knowledge and the capability to comprehend and apply advanced quality planning and analysis, within a systemic, integrated and multidisciplinary perspective.
The student after attending this course will be able to:
OB1- Know and understand advanced quality planning and analysis techniques;
OB2- Know how to apply statistical process control;
OB3- Know how to validate a measurement system (R&R study);
OB4- Know how to carry out an FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis);
OB5- Know how to carry out a QFD (Quality Function Deployment);
OB6- Know how to plan experiments;
OB7- Know and understand the Six Sigma philosophy;
OB8- Know how to use specific software in Quality Engineering.
