Course Description – Project Work: Accounting, Auditing and Taxation

This course provides students with the opportunity to integrate and apply the theoretical knowledge acquired throughout their studies in the fields of accounting, auditing, and taxation to practical business situations. Through project-based learning, students analyse and solve complex professional problems while gaining experience with real or simulated business cases in cooperation with organisations from the public and private sectors.

The course focuses on the practical application of accounting, auditing, and taxation principles through research, case studies, independent and group work, and project development. Students participate in the analysis of business processes, evaluate professional practices, and develop evidence-based solutions while applying relevant accounting, auditing, and tax regulations. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, ethical responsibility, teamwork, and effective professional communication.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply specialised knowledge to complex business challenges, conduct independent professional research, evaluate and interpret accounting, auditing, and taxation information, and develop well-founded recommendations that support organisational decision-making and professional practice.
