Learning Outcomes
This curricular unit provides the fundamental knowledge and skills on processes of transforming biomass into biofuels.
OBJ1 - Knowledge of the technologies and biofuels obtained from thermochemical processing of biomass: gasification, pyrolysis and torrefaction and hydrothermal treatments of biomass.
OBJ2 - Knowledge of the technologies and fuels obtained from the chemical and biological processing (aerobic and anaerobic fermentations) of the biomass.
