Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, students must have fundamental knowledge and skills to meet the following objectives:
OBJ1 - Identify and characterize the determining parameters of the quality of water for human consumption, swimming pool water and industrial water for specific purposes
OBJ2 - Understand the required processes for the treatment of these waters
OBJ3 - Know how to size the appropriate equipment for the practical implementation of these processes
OBJ4 - Understand the operation of different treatment systems and the importance of implementing consumption optimization measures
OBJ5 - Design water treatment systems (human consumption, swimming pool water, industrial water)
OBJ6 - Apply the acquired knowledge to new situations, namely in the treatment of process water for specific purposes (food industry and others)
