Learning Outcomes
The students will learn how to analyze discrete-time control systems, and to design and implement real-time digital controllers. Also, the student will be introduced to computational tools for the development of computer-controlled systems.
Specific objectives are:
- Knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts of digital control systems (namely, sampling, reconstruction, discretization and stability) (OB1)
- Ability to analyze and predict the performance of digital control systems (OB2)
- Ability to design and implement computer-controlled systems (OB3)
- Ability to evaluate and test the system performance using computer-aided tools (OB4)
