Learning Outcomes

This course embeds knowledge of different scientific areas, namely mathematics, signals and systems, electricity, and electronics. This course will allow students to analyze the dynamic performance of linear and non-linear systems from the perspective of control systems.
- Understand the fundamental concepts of nonlinear systems; (OB1)
- Analyze limit cycles; (OB2)
- Modeling continuous and discrete time systems in the state-space; (OB3)
- Control continuous-time systems in the state space; (OB4)
- Characterize and analyze observability and controllability; (OB5)
- Determine and analyze the response of discrete time systems; (OB6)
- Obtain models and analyze systems using the Z transform; (OB7)
- Analyze the stability of discrete time systems. (OB8)
