Learning Outcomes
OBJ1: Analysis of the physical principles that govern the behavior of the contact between surfaces and their translation in terms of mathematical formulation.
OBJ2: Analysis of the influence of various operating parameters (geometry, load, speed, slip, oil, etc.) involved in the mathematical formulation that affect the performance of the contact (efficiency, life, etc.) and as a corollary, its translation into practical applications of design , selection, and analysis of failures in actual contacts.
