Theoretical Program (50%):
CP1. Analysis and specification of project support information systems:
-Fundamental concepts: system definition; project life cycle; development processes and project support; standards and referentials.
- Requirements Engineering:
-Specification, design, implementation, and validation of systems.
CP2. Project Management:
-Introduction to the problem of project management;
-Life cycle of a project, organization, planning, control, risk analysis;
-Methods, techniques, and tools for project management;
-Management of resources and technology;
-Software tools for project management.
CP3. Investment Project Analysis:
-Business analysis;
-Profitability criteria.
Practical-Laboratory Program (50%):
CP4. Development of case studies in project management covering the different phases of the project life cycle.
CP5. Carrying out project planning and evaluation exercises with software support.
Learning Outcomes
With the teaching of the Curricular Unit, students will be able to achieve the following pedagogical objectives:
A - Distinguish key business information management approaches and applications
B - Being able to evaluate the relational model and how to organize the database management systems
C - Outline the fundamentals of the PMBoK conceptual model and ISO 21500: 2012 and its methodologies.
D - Know and apply different investment valuation techniques
E - Formulate, depending on the project in the company, the processes, its structure, as well as to define the resources required.
F - Propose the use of the techniques of conception, planning and control of projects with the necessary efficiency and control of effectiveness.
G - Choose group work methods and appropriate project documentation in multi-disciplinary projects in business environments.
