Learning Outcomes

It is expected that the student acquires knowledge in tools that aim to maintain and/or improve, on acceptable conditions of production, equipment and facilities. It is also intended that the student get knowledge in reliability theory as support for the engineering specifications.
At the end of the course, the students will be able to:
OB1. Understand and apply scientific methods for evaluation of probabilistic behavior of the failures of equipment;
OB2. Understand the role of maintenance management for the competitiveness of companies and have a global vision and the same;
OB3. Outline and implement different programes of maintaining facilities;
OB4. Evaluate the maintenance costs and monitor performance indicators.
