P3: Environmental geology, Earth's natural systems and their functioning; geological and natural risks (9 h)
P4: Sustainable development, concepts, SDGs and energy transition (2 weeks) (6 h)
P5: Natural energy resources in energy producing systems (12 h)
P6: Non-energy natural resources in energy producing systems (9 h).
Learning Outcomes
General goals:
O1) reflect on the impact of human activities on the environment and its evolution over time;
O2: to acquire knowledge in the areas of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sciences that allow good practices and responsible use of natural resources and respect for the environment.
O3: Develop independent study and teamwork skills.
Specific goals:
O4: to know and understand the Earth's natural systems and how they work
O5: to provid knowledge and skills inherent to Sustainable Development practices and to the sustainable use of the planet's natural resources from the perspective of earth and environmental sciences
O6: to analyze the potential of renewable natural resources in the SDGs;
O7: to know and understand the general characteristics of natural energy resources used in energy production and methods of use;
O8: to know and understand the general characteristics of non-energy natural resources used in the development of energy producing systems.
