Learning Outcomes

Prepare students with:
O1 - The knowledge needed to understand and act on the themes of rational energy use, considering all kinds of strategies, from energy conservation, energy efficiency, to the integration of renewable energy sources.
O2 - The knowledge to use the strategies of rational use of energy in a multi-sectoral perspective, and properly framed in a context of maximization of the sustainability.
O3 - The knowledge needed to act in energy systems, in order to reduce the environmental impacts associated with them, by reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions associated with these systems.
O4 - the structured intervention capacity from the conception to the exploration / use of the systems.
