Learning Outcomes
O1: master the fundamental concepts associated with analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) conversion;
O2: understand the principles of transduction and measurement of nonelectric quantities; sensors in the context of monitoring/control systems;
O3: assimilate the principles associated to electronic and electromechanical actuators;
O4: know the interface circuits between devices that ensure their interoperability;
O5: master the fundamentals of AC-DC and DC-DC converters, for different voltage levels;
O6: learn to analyze a feedback system in the context of amplifiers and oscillators;
O7: know how to analyze and size signal conditioning circuits (of sensed systems), mainly using operational amplifiers;
O8: ability to analyze frequency mixers, sine oscillators, phase locked loops and frequency synthesizers.
