Learning Outcomes
The student should be able to:
C01. Understand the fundamentals of database management systems(DBMS), with particular emphasis on relational databases;
C02. Acquire and consolidate knowledge on system modeling, including data modeling;
C03. Acquire knowledge to solve problems by constructing database queries using SQL (Structured Query Language);
C04. Design a database for a project, taking in account functional requirements, constraints and construction of database queries;
CO5. Describe the terminology and concepts used in the field of data warehouses;
C06. Explain a data warehouse architecture and, specifically, the purpose of its components;
C07. Apply methods that support the analysis, modelling, design and implementation of data warehouses;
C08. Combine techniques that support to perform an extraction, transformation, cleaning, integration, and load processes in a data warehouse.
