Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit seeks to make students aware of the different types of wireless communication networks. Based on the technological aspects of the various systems, it should provide students with the basic knowledge:
- to understand and characterize radiofrequency communication systems (PO1);
- to know the different ways of managing access to the physical environment in wireless communication systems (PO2);
- to know the different characteristics of cellular network systems (PO3);
- to know and understand the most relevant architectural and protocol characteristics of different wireless communication network systems (PO4);
- to understand the concept of mobility in wireless networks (PO5).
