Contents

Design and implementation of systems presented to students (or proposed by students) under the supervision of course professor. These projects should use digital communications technologies, supported by standard communication protocols. Throughout the course, key topics for the communication infrastructure project will be applied and consolidated.

Infrastructure projects are based on real problems in which the student is intended to take an environment at all stages from requirements collection to the drawing up of a map of quantities or, ultimately, a specifications.

The interconnection projects are based on virtualization and/or public cloud environments, are supported by development tools for programming in nodejs, javascript, and Python language.

Learning Outcomes

Course that integrates the knowledge acquired in several previous curricular units, providing the student with a comprehensive picture of how the previously seized knowledge is interconnected. Students learn this integration using a Problem Based Learning (PBL) environment, seeking autonomy in the search for solutions in a structured environment such as that provided by project management methodologies.

The integration places special emphasis on the knowledge acquired that allows the elaboration of projects in data communication systems both with physical support and with radio support.

General objectives:
1- Recognition of the stages/tasks of development of a project (OB1).
2 - Research and study of the elements necessary for the project (OB2);
3 - Design, development of a prototype and conducting functional tests or a specifications with a solution (OB3);
4 - Reporting (OB4);
5 - State of the art study (OB5)
