ELECTIVE COURSE SEPARATION PROCESSES II
Description
To acquaint students with the basic principles of thermal (equilibrium) separation processes. The students are able to use acquired knowledge in the design of separation processes and separators for the chemical process industry.
Learning Outcomes
Transferable/Key Skills and other attributes: - ability to integrate knowledge on transport phenomena, phase equilibria and mass and heat balances with the knowledge on separation processes, - for simpler problems properly select and optimize the separation process and process conditions and design a device.
