Presentation

The fundamental objectives of the programme are the following: • To provide expertise in the field of Electrical Engineering that will enable the graduates to successfully work in the field of design, manufacture, maintenance and management or use of electrical devices, systems and processes; • To develop awareness of the importance of quality and economic factors that are associated with the development of electrical devices; • To provide the students with the basic mathematical, natural science and computer skills; • To provide basic knowledge on narrow areas of Automation and Robotics, Electronics and Power Engineering; • To enable the students by giving them the possibility of deciding on the direction and selection of a certain number of elective subjects to be actively involved in the shaping of their professional profile; • To provide basic organisational skills for teamwork; • To teach the students how to use modern engineering tools, techniques of experimentation and methods for their evaluation; • To provide a sufficiently broad systemic and methodological knowledge that enables communication with experts of various technical and nontechnical profiles; • To develop a positive attitude and the ability for teamwork in a multicultural environment; • To develop a critical attitude towards new technical solutions and technologies and to impart a sense of community, social and ethical responsibility to the students; • To enable the graduates to advance their formal and informal education; • To teach the students how to use various sources of knowledge and encourage their mobility.

Learning Outcomes

• The ability to use mathematical, natural science and computer skills in solving technical problems; • The ability to integrate professional knowledge and modern engineering tools in solving technical problems; • The mastery of various skills, techniques, experimental and verification methods; • The ability of public presentations of technical solutions in written and spoken form; • Autonomy in professional work; • The ability to analyse, criticise and take responsibilities for the suggested solutions; and • The ability of operating in professionally and / or ethnically mixed groups
